Merry Meet, I am Demona and welcome to my little corner of Cyber Space.
I hope that you enjoy your visit here, and check back often, to see
what is new. I have done a bit of work, the main bit is, I have added a
link to each page below. There is a bit of graphics and may take a bit
for all of them to load. Browse around, I'm sure you will find something
interesting.
Now, for a little about Damona, the Goddess,
Damona
is a Gaulish Goddess who cares for all domestic animals,
especially sheep and cows. Damona is some times portrayed as a hot-spring,
alluding to a healthful, warm quality. As Fall nears,we can call on
Damona to protect our pets, or to maintain the health of the animals who
provide us with food.
Damona's Day is August 24th.
Things
to do on Damona's Day:
As one might expect, this historical fair, brought together sheep merchants
to show their goods to interested parties, including a special parade of
the animals bedecked in ribbons. The parade probably goes back to much
earlier times, when animals were taken into magickal rituals that maintained
health. One way to continue this tradition is by sprinkling a little warm
water on your pet to invite Damona's protection,( or brush it into the
creatures fur--- this works better with cats).
Wear woolen clothing,( or wool blends), to add Damona's healthy aspect
for your day. Or just simply enjoy a cup of tea, before the day gets busy,
Damona resides in warm water. To ensure a healthy nights sleep, count sheep
as you go to bed, visualize each one jumping over Damona's waters and walking
towards you. This brings Damona into your sleep cycle, where Her energy
can flow more easily to re-new well-being.

Now, for a little about me.
I am a
student of Wicca, I say student, because I think that we are all students
we have alot to learn as we make our way through life. Every day is a new
experience, with more for us to learn from.
I have
been studying Wicca for about 8 years, and still have much to learn. I
chose my name before I knew there was a Goddess named Damona. I am a big
fan of the cartoon-- Gargoyles. This is where I originally picked the name
from. I also love gargoyles.
I am alot
like the Goddess, Damona, I love animals, and I grew up on a farm. Where
animals were a very important part of my life.
This is
my first attempt at creating a web page. I hope to continuously add to
this site, as I learn and grow.
